About our garden:
As the only community garden in Durham Region located in a public park, we started in 2008 with
only 8 gardeners and have now grown to now grown to 71 gardeners with room to expand to 120 beds.
Though just a sprout, the garden has received interest from other regions and has been awarded a
City of Pickering Civic Award for our contributions to sustainability.
