About our garden:

Windfields Community Gardens located at 2951 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa, Ontario. The Windfields Community Gardens, is a 10 acres and a circa 1865 farmhouse.

The Community Garden is part of the Reelfood Project by the Foundation for Building Sustainable Communities (fbsc..org)

Currently, there is over 57 plots, with such vegetables as tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash, lettuce, ocra, calalloo, corn, zucchini, beans, cauliflower, broccoli, blackberry, raspberry ……..
The harvest from the teaching garden was given to Settlement House and the community.

The land and house is donated to be used for community and teaching gardens by Windfields Farms.
