Located in the Heritage District in downtown Whitby, our garden is designed with a holistic approach which mimics the biodiversity of a forest. We have a small orchard of fruit trees: apple, pear, plum and cherry. These are inter-planted with guilds of annual vegetables, perennial herbs and pollinator plants. Members, with assistance from volunteers, share in the work of planting and maintaining the crops. The harvest is divided equally among our members and with our local food bank.
