Annual General Meeting
You’re invited to join us at our Annual General Meeting! While our official business meeting is for members, everyone is welcome to attend our keynote presentation and participate in our annual Seed Swap.
Keynote Speaker: Derrick Stevenson – Chief Farmer, Mighty Harvest
We’re excited to welcome Derrick Stevenson, founder of Mighty Harvest (www.mightyharvest.ca), a 7,500-square-foot vertical farm in Ajax. Derrick’s farm produces herbicide/pesticide-free crops in a controlled indoor environment, supplying fresh food to the public and restaurants within a 50 km radius.
Seed Swap & Door Prize!
Bring labelled seeds from your garden to swap with fellow gardeners before and after the AGM.
A door prize will be awarded to one lucky attendee!
Refreshments will be available – please lug a mug to help reduce waste.
