We all love food. As a society, we devour countless cooking shows, culinary magazines and foodie blogs. So how could we possible be throwing nearly 50% of it in the trash?
This summer we are holding DIG’s 5th Annual Community Garden Tour on Saturday July 23rd@ 10:00am. We are excited to announce that this years tour will be a "Community Garden Poker Run". All participants on the tour will receive a random playing card at each garden they visit. At the end of the tour the individuals with the best poker hands will receive a gift card from various local businesses.
Prizes currently include gift cards from:

- Tyrone Mill
- Gallery on the Farm
- Kingsway Gardens
- & many more to come!
Our feature garden stop this year will be Jay Cuthbertson’s Forest Food Garden. Come Join us in seeing how Jay has used Permaculture principals to design this wonderful garden.
